Immune Booster, Health Restoration Massage This unique application involves all the oils in the “12
Oils of Ancient Scripture Kit”. It is advisable to take 20 – 30 minutes
before bed to restore and support your immune system. #1. Spikenard – Position your opposite fingertips to prevent the oil from rapidly running across the foot. Put one drop on your big toe and two drops on the ball of your feet. Use your opposite fingers to work these three drops into the tips of your toes and the top of your foot. Repeat on the opposite foot. #2 Hyssop – The goal is one drop
of oil near the bottom of the foot. The particular point we aim for is just
above the heel, at the bottom of the arch, across the width of the foot. Again,
position your opposite fingers at the bottom portion of the foot to prevent the
oil drop from spreading rapidly, before you let the oil drip onto the skin.
Then work it well with rubbing and vita flex; repeat with the opposite foot. #4 Cypress – This oil is used to increase the circulation in your body. Place 3 drops of Cypress on the bottom of your foot and gently massage up toward the top of the foot, around the ankle and up the lower half of your leg. If there are no varicose veins do a deeper massage. Brush lightly in the direction of the blood flow (toward your heart). Do this on both feet. NOTE: If you have varicose veins or blue capillaries sticking out or just beginning to surface be very gentle. Put no pressure on your legs if these are apparent. #5. Continue with Cypress by laying back and dripping 4 drops in a box around your heart. Put your left hand over the drops and rub the oil in. Gently inhale your fingertips. #6. Galbanum – Lay back and put 2
drops below your navel (belly button) and 2 drops on your solar plexus (very
top, middle stomach, just below ribs and breast bone). Position one hand on
each spot and “work” it in using a clockwise circular motion. Hold your
fingertips in place for a minute or more as you gently inhale. This oil absorbs
very quickly. Note: This oil was used by Moses. This oil has a not so pleasant
smell when used alone. #8. Myrtle – Myrtle is excellent to balance your
thyroid as well as an expectorant and anti-infectious. Lay back and drip one
drop on each side of the Adam’s apple, and work it into the skin. Then put 1-2
drops on each side of your chest again and work it in. At last you say, finally
an oil that smells like a perfume; enjoy. #10. Myrrh – This is another thick oil. It will drip from the spout. Beware that it is the most resinous of oils. Wipe the edge of the bottle with your finger or it will be hard to open the bottle the next time it is used. Drop one drop onto your finger and apply behind the lower ear lobe and work it in. Repeat on the other ear. Then apply one drop to each carotid artery on the front of your neck. Rub it in. #11. Frankincense (King of Oils) – This is the most important step, be generous! Beware this oil is very thin. Position the bottle of Frankincense over your chest and slowly place one drop. Gently massage this into your chest in a clock-wise motion while gently inhaling. Then place one drop onto one finger and gently massage in and around the ear. Don’t forget the earlobe. Work the frankincense oil in a little and then switch to using your thumb and forefinger and “rolling” or rubbing your earflap between the two fingers. Proceed up and down the entire ear until the skin is dry again. Repeat entire process on opposite ear. Gently inhale. #12. Aloe/Sandalwood – Drip 3-4 drops onto the crown (very top of the head). Don’t worry about having an oily residue on your hair. This should not happen. Using a mirror may be helpful to gage your drop and ensure proper placement on the head. Gently massage the oils with your fingertips until the area becomes dry. Gently inhale this pleasant oil from your fingertips. #13. Cedarwood – This is a lovely
fragrance to complete your massage. Drip one drop onto the middle finger and
spread it across the forehead and work it in. Place a drop on each shoulder and
gently massage. Now, get into a warm bed and enjoy a marvelous nights sleep
knowing that you used the same oils that were used in the Old and New
Testaments. When dripping oil onto your fingertips, hold your 3 center fingers together and aim for the middle finger. As the oil naturally spreads out, the next finger catches any oil funning down the side. Never drip essential oils directly into the ear. A low heat oil, such as Frankincense may be applied first to the finger and then rubbed into the opening of the ear. Never in the ear or eyes! None of the biblical oils described should cause any problem when applied undiluted to your skin other than Cassia. However, skin sensitivity is an issue for many, therefore, a spot test may be necessary. Take one drop of oil and apply to a quarter-sized area of the forearm. Wait about 20-30 minutes. If the area burns or turns read it is advisable to dilute the oil with a carrier oil. Repeat this process until no irritation occurs. |
