                                       Winterize Your Home

Winter weather has a special way of making everyone want to stay at home, or indoors, for prolonged periods of time.

Even if you are stuck inside an office building or receive many visitors to your office area you may end up being exposed to a number of unwanted organisms.  To prepare for winter hibernation, keep your home and office clean and protected with the help of Thieves products.

Thieves Household Cleaner, Thieves Spray, and Thieves Wipes are all natural, safe, multifunctional and be used on almost any surface.  For extra strength, use the Household Cleaner straight, or dilute it in a spray bottle.  Try these great tips around the house for protection from dust, mold, and unwanted microorganisms.

Kitchen

Wipe down countertops, appliances, and cutting boards with diluted or full strength Thieves Household Cleaner.  Add Thieves Cleaner to the bottom of the dishwasher as a degreaser or dish soap, or add it to a bucket of water for moping floors.

Bathroom

Spray diluted Thieves Household Cleaner on shower walls, curtain, tub, sink, toilet, countertops, glass mirrors, and floors.  Spray and just wipe with a clean cloth - - - it leaves a beautiful shine and wonderful clean fragrance.  Wipe off doorknobs and handles with Thieves Wipes.  Mix Thieves Household Cleaner with Young Living’s Bath & Shower Gel Base (an excellent essential oils dispersing agent for water applications) for a cleansing, lathering liquid hand soap.

Laundry

Add Thieves Household Cleaner to the washing machine or use it as a spot treatment for clean, fragrant clothes.  Spritz a washcloth with Thieves Household Cleaner or take a Thieves Wipe and add it to the dryer for fresh-smelling, anti-static laundry.

Bedroom

Spray diluted Thieves Household Cleaner or Thieves Spray on your mattress, sheets, and pillows for freshness and to eliminate dust mites.

Living Room

Spray diluted Thieves Household Cleaner on silk and live plants, spray or spot carpets, and spritz the air with Thieves Spray for a room deodorizer.  HeavenScent shampooed her entire house using 2 capfuls of Thieves Cleaner in her Bissell home carpet cleaner - - - and it did an excellent job!  Also use diluted Thieves Household Cleaner to wipe walls and woodwork, or to spot-clean upholstery.  If you think you have mold problems cleaning regularly with Thieves Household Cleaner is a must.  And should you need to repaint Thieves essential oil can be added to the paint gallon.

Office

Use Thieves Wipes to clean off your desk and other surfaces that are touched often, such as keyboards, telephones, mouse, drawer handles, and doorknobs.

For the final touch, diffuse Thieves Essential Oil Blend periodically throughout the day to purify and freshen the air you breathe in your home and office.
