Strawberry
Lavender Lemonade!
Having dined at an exclusive health spa restaurant (Thank You Robert
Redfern, from England!) and having this most delicious beverage -
- - I have been making it ever since!
1 Cup of Sugar [I use raw brown sugar, but you can also use stevia]
1 Tablespoon grated lemon rind [you can also use about 15 drops of Lemon
Essential Oil]
1/2 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice [from about six large lemons, I have
a tree]
3/4 cup fresh pureed strawberries
10 drops of Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
6 Cups cold water
Ice cubes
In a jar with tight-fitting lid, combine sugar, rind, and boiling water;
shake until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice; shake well. Add fresh
pureed strawberries and 10 drops of Lavender (Lavandula
angustifolia). Chill. Before serving, add water and ice cubes. Makes
2 quarts.

Essential Oil
Blend the yogurt, strawberries, and honey in a blender

Aromatherapy
Body Polish
Sea salt is comely used as a body polish (but it is an even better
body detoxifier!), but sugar (sugar is NOT a detoxifier) works just as
well and is gentler. V-6 Mixing Oil moisturizes dry skin, and
Frankincense (Boswellia carteri) and Lavender (Lavandula
angustifolia) are rejuvenating for the skin.
½ cup unrefined sugar or sea salt
2 Tablespoons V-6 Mixing Oil [or almond oil, or coconut oil]
3 Drops Frankincense essential oil
3 Drops Lavender essential oil
Mix all ingredients
together. Dampen your skin with a warm shower and while standing in the
bathtub spread the mixture on your skin in small circular massage-type
strokes. Rinse well with warm water. Be extra careful while standing
because this mixture will make the tub slick, you may wish to use a rubber
bath mat when doing home washes, exfoliating or body scrubs.

Summertime
Bath
Roman Chamomile or Lavender essential oil can take the swelling
and sting out of a sunburn and windburn. For a cooling bath after sun or
wind exposure, mix 5 drops chamomile or lavender essential oil
, 3 drops geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) essential oil, and 1 to 2
drops peppermint (Mentha xpiperita) essential oil with 1 Tablespoon
Bath Gel Base; mix well and add to a tub of warm to cool bathwater.
R. Chamomile and Lavender are two of the top most sought after essential
oils to be used on children. This is great for pets as well! |

Lavender
Antibacterial Spray
This spray smells wonderful and can double as a disinfectant and air
freshener. It is perfect for garbage cans. [Ed--- It is perfect for pet
bedding or pet kenneling areas.]
1 cup warm water
25 drops lavender essential oil
Combine water and oil in a spray bottle and shake well to blend. To use,
spray into the air or onto the surface you’re disinfecting. Also relieves
sunburn!
Lavender Sunburn Relief
For cool and soothing relief of sunburn mix 24 drops of Lavender (Lavandula
angustifoila) , 2 ounces of Aloe vera gel or Miracle 2 Neutralizer
Gel, ¼ teaspoon vitamin E oil and ¼ teaspoon Bragg Apple Cider
Vinegar; shake well and pour into a spray bottle. Store spray in
refrigerator and shake before each use.
Ed Note: I always save my used Thieves Spray bottles! These are
great to make my own sprays in. The dark colored food-grade plastic
container keeps the oil frequencies active (light bottles cause the
molecular structure of the essential oil to enlarge and stops the deep cell
penetration). The Miracle2 Neutralizer and Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar
are available by calling 1-877-817-9829 or

hair types.
1 Cup Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar
10 Drops Rosemary Essential Oil
10 Drops of Lavender Essential Oil
Mix
together in a dark colored glass bottle and store. To use, add 2
Tablespoons of the tincture to 1 cup of water and massage through hair,
after shampooing and rinsing. Rinse again after conditioner is applied.

Aromatherapy Conditioning Treatment
2 Tablespoons (more for long hair) of cold-pressed coconut oil
10 drops Lavender (Lavandula angustifoila) essential oil
In a small container, combine cold-pressed coconut oil (may need to warm
coconut oil with container set inside bowl of hot water to liquefy it) with
Lavender Essential Oil. Dampen your hair with warm water and massage this
oil mixture into your scalp and hair with your finger tips. If your hair
has a tendency to be oily, apply only to the ends of your hair. Put on a
shower cap and allow the oils to remain for 30 minutes. Follow by
shampooing and rinsing well with warm water.
NOTE: Dr. Morton Walker in his book Bald No More
recommends adding Rosemary Essential Oil (to the above protocol) to
enhance hair growth!
