Hint on treating nail fungus:
Nail fungus is hard to treat and typically requires4 to 8 weeks to see the
results. There is a product called Urea for helping any topical treatment
essential oils to work better and faster on the nail. A 20 percent Urea cream
is available at any health food store, it softens the nail to expedite
penetration of essential oils or drug preparations. Top essentials oils that
work real well to knock-out nail fungus are Thieves, Melrose (a blend of
melaleuca or tea tree oils), Oregano and Thyme. It is a good idea to rotate a
couple of different oils to get broad-spectrum coverage.
As a preventative remedy, you may want to spray Thieves oil
into your shoes, or rub tea tree, oregano or thyme oils into the toe area. A
foot powder can be made mixing the essential oils with powdered clay. Avoid
synthetic socks, cotton or wool socks keep moisture away from your foot. Keep
your nails trimmed down. Treat any signs of fungus or athlete’s foot, peeling
or cracking skin between the toes or on the bottom of your feet, before it
migrates to the nails.
