is a very popular blend of dog breeders because it safe and effective for controlling insects, germs and simultaneously boosting the pet's immune system.  It is a perfect choice for humans and pets alike - - - because it contains six different single oils, of which four are registered with the EPA as insect repellents.  [Summary chard for plant oils pesticides active ingredients can be located on http://www.epa.gov]

Purification has multiple essential oils, working simultaneously, providing broad spectrum coverage.  It is a broad-spectrum that is effective against mosquitoes, biting flies, chiggers, fleas and ticks because one does not know which species it may be up against.  In addition, Purification is more effective than using iodine or hydrogen peroxide for washing and cleaning of wounds or disarming unknown pathogens from sidewalks, park areas or other public places you may be taking your precious pet.  This becomes increasing important in an age when fewer pet owners are opting for harmful vaccine cocktails.

Purification is code # 3399; 15 ml (300 drops) -
$18.75 Retail/ $16.50 Preferred Cust./  $14.25 Wholesale

How To Use:
Dilute 1-2 drops in 6-10 drops V-6 Mixing Oil (or any Vegetable oil - coconut oil is real good, extra virgin olive oil) and rub into your pets paw pads, taking it up the paw area onto the legs.  Wash bedding with essential oils added to the rinse cycle or add a few drops to the fabric as it circulates through the drying  cycle.  BEST:  Purchase a leather collar and soak it over night in a bowl with Purification, or a combination of any of the ingredients listed below (Dr. Miles Bader has stated on public radio Orange Oil also works...hmmm.  HeavenScent believes Eucalyptus oils are beneficial in this area as well - mixing orange with eucalyptus may be a better idea), some water and some oil.  After 10 hours let the collar fully dry and place on your pet.  This is better than any poison commercial collar you purchase in stores.  It lasts about a month.  Oils on the pets body last 8 to 10 hours as they absorb into the skin and fat tissue to keep working. Also you may wish to rub it into the coat of particular flea infested areas.

Purification contains:
(Cymbopogon nardus) which is antiseptic, antibacterial, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, insecticidal and soothing to tissues.  Citronella is registered with the EPA as an effective insect repellent.
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) has strong antifungal properties when applied topically.  Lemongrass  is registered with the EPA as an effective insect repellent.  Lemongrass is also anti-parasitic and can aid in a natural de-worming of your pets.
Lavandin (Lavandula x hybrida) a strong antiseptic also registered with the EPA as an effective insect repellent.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis CT) is a top anti-infectious, anti-microbial and antiseptic. Rosemary  is registered with the EPA as a Biopesticide- Repellent.
Melaleuca (Melaleuca alternifolia) is antiseptic, anti-infectious, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-parasitic, immune-stimulating and a neurotonic.  Entire books have been written on this popular tea-tree oil.
Myrtle (Myrtus communis) is antibacterial and may support immune function in fighting infectious diseases, especially air-borne and respiratory.

Di-Gize (formerly called Di-Tone) claim to fame in pets is it's unique ability to remove parasite infestations naturally and effectively.

Tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus)  combats intestinal parasites and urinary tract infections.  It is also helpful in fighting public infection.
Ginger (Zingiber officinale) has been used for gastro-intestinal fermentation and aids in digestion.
Juniper (Juniperus osteosperma and/or J. scopulorum) works as a powerful detoxifier and cleanser.
Anise (Pimpinella anisum) stimulates and increase healthy bile flow and combats any intestinal pain, along with ginger.
Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare) is stimulating and supportive of the gastrointestinal system and helps prevents fermentation.
Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin) is a powerful digestive aid.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) a popular and highly regarded natural herb for improving digestion and combating parasites.  It kills bacteria, yeasts, fungi and mold.
Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) has powerful anti-fungal properties, aid digestion and is anti-inflammatory.

One (small animals) or two drops  (larger animals) may be given internally, probably best in a capsule size 0 because dogs and cats do not like this taste.  When pets are vomiting dilute with 1 part EO to 1 part vegetable oil and rub on stomach.  Works extremely well to remove parasites and harmful stomach pathogens.

Speaking about dogs . . . fleas need NOT be a problem:
Lemongrass, Melrose, citronella, pine, eucalyptus (all types), or peppermint can be added to shampoo. One to two drops of Grade A oil is all that is needed. The essential oil blend of Di-Tone can also be used.

Another suggested remedy is blending eucalyptus, orange, citronella and cedarwood to distilled water in a spray bottle, shake well, and mist over entire animal (be very careful and avoid your beloved pets eyes). Purification Essential Oil Blend is tops!

These oils repel fleas and other external parasites. Wash blankets with oils added to the wash during the rinse cycle. Place 1-2 drops of lemongrass on collar to eliminate fleas. This author regularly diffuses the blended oil of Purification in her home during flea seasonand has not had a flea problem since!

When bathing your dog that has a flea problem...
Ivory Liquid Dishwashing Soap is excellent for getting rid of the fleas during bath time, and especially important to kill off the flea eggs (coats them) and halts that rapid flea reproduction.

My absolute favorite DOGGIE BATH RINSE is:
A large bucket of warm water with Miracle II Neutralizer added to the water, plus 12-15 drops of Lavender Essential Oil and 8-10 drops of Rosewood Essential Oil.

After rinsing all the shampoo away.... pour this solution over dog/s body from neck down (tilting head as to not get essential oils into eyes).  Do not rinse off.  Work solution around the body parts, then squeegee (with your hands) the solution away from the body.  Towel dry and use that wet towel to wipe their ears and face (once again carefully around and avoiding the eyes).  Not only will your dog feel good...but smell fabulous for a week or so!
